Peter Ward
President
Moved into RMCG in 2017.
I started out helping with the website management and graphic design until our former Treasurer talked me into taking the position of President, which I’ve held since 2020. I’m so proud of our Board of Directors and all of the progress we’ve made over the past few years!
Married my best friend and high school sweetheart, Kristen Ward, when we were only 20 years old. We have 3 daughters and a black cat named Natasha.
Favorite Musical Artists: The Smashing Pumpkins, August Burns Red, Five Iron Frenzy, Stavesacre, Operation Ivy, Switchfoot, U2, and many more!

Mary Campbell
Vice President
Year moved into RMCG: November 2011
I'm not sure if I volunteered or was selected, lol. I decided to volunteer because this neighborhood is the best thing that happened to my family. We have made lifelong friends here and plan to stay here for as long as I am able to climb all the stairs in my three level colonial!
I am a native of Georgia, raised in Atlanta and have lived in Duluth since 2006. I have two boys, 19 and 15, and three pets; two tom cats, Fenix and Collins, and a very anxious border collie, Bailey.
I love what Duluth has made of the local downtown area and those local restaurants have become some of my favorites. If there is something happening in Downtown Duluth I will most likely be there and I highly recommend that you catch a show at the Red Clay Theatre if you have never been.

Ted Furlette
Treasurer
Moved into RMCG in 2022.
I am volunteering as Treasurer to assist in managing the funds vital for the smooth operation of RMCG, helping our neighborhood continue thriving as the vibrant community where everyone loves to live and play!
Favorite something: Go Dawgs!

Jim Hall
Secretary
Julie and I have lived in Carriage Gate for 35 years. We moved here the year after we were married. We raised our sons here ... Charlie, now 31, and Evan, now 24. We have always considered this the World’s Greatest Neighborhood.
I have been on the Duluth Fall Festival Committee for 30 years. I was honored to Co-Chair the Festival twice, in 2000 and 2003. I was also an 8-year member of the Duluth City Council, from 2002 to 2010.
I retired in 2017 as the Senior Director of Community Relations for the Atlanta Gladiators Hockey Team. I am now a Substitute Teacher for Gwinnett County Public Schools, where I just finished my 8th year of subbing. Many of the RMCG youngsters know me as "Mr. Hall" at Chattahoochee Elementary, where I average about 100 days a year at the school.

Tom Zingo
Swimming Pool Coordinator
Moved into RMCG in 2007.
When I first saw the recreation area, it reminded me of something I might see at a hotel in the Pocanos or other mountain/rural area. I wanted to be involved to have a say in how the area was run and maintained.
I have 3 birds, 2 cats, 1.5 dogs (dogsitting a small one), 1 wife (Tina), 1 child (Natalia).
Favorite something: Area parks and festivals, Chattahoochee River

Judy Terry
Member Services
Moved into RMCG in 1986.
Volunteered as Treasurer to stabilize the funds required to keep RMCG running smoothly, and I’m still doing my part to help it be a place everyone wants to live and play by helping new members get registered in the access system and tracking memberships.
Favorite something: I Love Kurt's Restaurant!

Steve Terry
Tennis Court Coordinator
I moved to Georgia in 1980 primarily so I could play tennis year-round. Judy and I moved into Carriage Gate in 1986 and have been members since then.
When Brian Marcus joined the board as the Tennis rep, it was understood that I would be his assistant and pretty much do all the heavy lifting. With his retirement and moving out of our community, I have taken over his responsibilities including the maintenance of the courts.
Since I try to play tennis daily, I'm usually around to keep the courts a pleasant place to play for our members.

Volunteer
Moved into RMCG in 2014.
Since joining the board in 2022, I have represented RMCG, including serving as Vice President for two years. I love our neighborhood and love being involved. Serving on our Board allows me to be a part of a hard working group of great men and women dedicated to ensuring the future of RMCG is bright.
My wife, Beth, and I have four kids (Max, Sam, Alice, and Hattie). We attend Gwinnett Church in Sugar Hill, and we moved about a thousand times before finally settling down in Duluth.
Fun fact: I married up. 😊

Greg LaHatte
Member Relations & Welcome Committee
Moved into RMCG in 1996.
Volunteered because involvement makes a community stronger. We are better and stronger if we know one another.
Margaret and I have been married 48 years.
Favorite something: I love grandchildren!

Vanessa Cartier-Craddock
Volunteer
Moved into RMCG in 2020.
Volunteered because I wanted to be more involved in the neighborhood and this seemed like a great way to do that.
We moved to GA from CA 6 years ago. It was the best decision we ever made. We have 3 orange cats by accident. The way to my heart is a really good taco and bottle of wine. LOL

I provide a home for the wayward cats, Primo and Babe 😺
I love anything outside; Town Green concerts, gardening, hanging out at the lake…
